About Langham Fireworks

History

Langham Fireworks is a community event organised by Langham Parish Council, with all profits used to improve local community facilities at the Recreation Ground. The event has a long and successful history dating back to the 1970s, drawing in many spectators from Colchester and Ipswich as well as the local villages.

After a short break during the covid pandemic, the event was relaunched in 2022 with a family-friendly evening featuring music, outdoor bar, varied food franchises and children's fairground rides, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display that drew many comments of "best ever" from seasoned observers!

Event Location

Our event is held on the Langham Recreation Ground on School Road (postcode CO4 5PA), easily reached from the A12 just north of Colchester. Gates will open at 5.30pm for our 2024 event.
